Press Preview of Decor for Singapore State Dinner

This photograph of a table in the State Dining Room decorated for a State Dinner was taken for the White House Historical Association by Matthew D'Agostino on July 29, 2016. It was taken during a press preview for a State Dinner hosted by President Barack Obama to honor Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore. For the event, Chief Floral Designer Hedieh Roshan Ghaffarian selected yellow orchids and garden roses to symbolize the harmonious friendship between the United States and Singapore. The State Dinner was held in the East Room on August 2, 2016.
